Geoff Wheatley

Geoff provided Production Management, Stage & Workshop staff, and support services through for more than 35 years. Geoff's experience included national and international tours, summer seasons, West End, trade shows and exhibitions. Geoff's most memorable projects included a highly successful production of Sweeny Todd in the open-air theatre at London's Holland Park and the National tours of Lanza the Last Serenade, Hen Party, Scissor Happy and Ladies’ Night as well as Evita in concert.

Highlights included sound-designer on The Diary of Anne Frank at the Civic Theatre, Chelmsford; Production Management and sound design on several tours of the highly successful Ladies Night for which Geoff combined production management with sound design; Production Management for both Wizard of Oz and Snow White in several venues. Geoff's greatest achievement to date has been as Production Manager for the highly acclaimed Les Misérables concert which formed part of the Chelmsford Spectacular. He was responsible for co-ordinating the work of 200 artistes, a creative team in excess of 40 together with more than 30 technical and support staff who between them produced a concert that delighted an audience of 18,000.

Geoff is also a partner, with his wife Elisabeth, in a major Essex-based dance school - The Weston School of Dance and Performing Arts. Founded in 1939, Geoff and Elisabeth took over the School in 1988.
